PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flocking coating method contributing not only to the sharp conservation of the labor and time of process work but also to energy saving and imparting high design effect by making an adhesive solventless to contribute to the environment and dispensing with a baking process after coating. SOLUTION: In the flocking coating method, a thermoplastic resin is applied to a surface to be coated to form an adhesive layer and a fibrous or granular material capable of being subjected to charge coating is applied to this adhesive layer by using an electrostatic coating type sprayer. As the thermoplastic resin, a hot-melt resin is used and the fibrous or granular material capable of being subjected to charge coating is selected from a short fiber, plastic beads, a waste plastic, a stone powder, wood flour and a pigment.
