摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag system reducible in weight while maintaining superior operating performance. SOLUTION: The air bag system has an ECU connected to an power supply and an impact detecting sensor and a module case storing a plurality of gas generators and an air bag. It also has a bus line consisting of a plurality of circular wires passing through the ECU for supplying and transferring a current or others, to which the individual gas generators are operably connected via conductors branching from the bus line. Ignitors for the gas generators and the bus line are connected via the conductors. A capacitor and an IC are installed in each of the ignitors for the gas generators. The current for igniting an explosive is supplied to the ignitors via the capacitor. A time for supplying the current is within 500μsec after reaching a current value of 5% of the maximum current value but before decreasing to the current value of 5% of the maximum current value.
