PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide rails for a casting carriage capable of hardly generating shocks when the casting carriage passes their joint portions and further capable of preventing the problem of curling up of the rails at the joint portions. SOLUTION: The rail 21 for running of the casting carriage carrying rotary molds for centrifugal casting, has a joint portion 30. In the joint portion 30, at least a rail head portion 22 has a first face 27 heading from the side portion 25 by which the flange of the wheel of the casting carriage passes toward the central axis of the rail 21 along the direction crossing the rail 21 and a second face 28 formed following the first face 27 in an oblique direction relative to the rail central axis such that the angle relative to the rail center axis becomes smaller than that of the first face 27.
