An ophthalmic solution comprises a sterile aqueous solution of a glycogen polysaccharide in amount 0.1 to 12 wt. %/volume, antioxidant composition, composition for regulation of isotonicity, conservation composition selected from the group consisting in chloride benzylalkonium, timerosal, methylparabenes, propyl- and butylparabenes. An ophthalmic solution has pH 5 to 8 and viscosity 0.001 to 0.009 Pa.s.
