摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comparative diagnostic reading support technique which enables an efficient comparative diagnostic reading in the case of the comparative diagnostic reading of an image to be diagnosed and a reference image.

SOLUTION: The reference image being the comparison object of the image to be diagnosed is acquired from a plurality of examinations or series and collected as a reference image group to be stored in a memory device. When the comparative diagnostic reading is required, the reference image group becoming the comparison object of the image to be diagnosed is selected therefrom. Succeedingly, in the case of different sizes, processing for matching the size of the image to be diagnosed with that of the selected reference image is performed to display the image to be diagnosed and the reference image, both of which are constituted of the same size, in contradistinction to each other to process them so as to record a view in response to a view recording request. By collecting the reference images being the comparison object of the image to be diagnosed as the reference image group preliminarily, the comparison of the image to be diagnosed and the reference image can be easily realized.
