<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording medium which shows excellent color developing properties, the heat resistance of a blank paper and the shelf stability of a recorded image, and especially outstanding resistance to humidity, plasticizer and oil. <P>SOLUTION: The heat-sensitive recording medium has a heat-sensitive color developing layer containing a leuco dye and a color developing compound which develops a color by heat. In the heat-sensitive color developing layer, 3- diethylamino-6-methyl-7-anilinofluoran is added as the leuco dye; a combination of 2,4'-dihydroxydiphenylsulfone and a diphenylsulfone crosslinking compound represented by formula (wherein n is 1 to 20) are added as the color developing compound; and di-p-chlorobenzyl oxalate is added as a sensitizer.
