<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly protect the breast and belly of a screw and effectively protect the body of the crew by continuously moving the waist of the crew to a non-collision side. <P>SOLUTION: The side air bag devices 1,2 comprise side air bags 11, 12 to be filled with gas and expanded between a door 9 and a crew P with a signal from a acceleration sensor during the collision of a vehicle for protecting the crew. The first side air bag 11 can fill up a space between the door 9 and the waist of the crew P and the second side air bag 12 can fill up a space between the door 9 and a rang of the belly to shoulder of the crew P.
