<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish an industrial method for detoxification, recycling of wastes, and waste treatment at a low cost without causing adverse effects on the environments under recent circumferences wherein environmental issue becomes a serious problem and in particular, to develop a counter measure to solve the issue of metal concentration by microorganism in the treatment process of sludge or the like. <P>SOLUTION: Carbon contained in sludge, organic matter, and wastes is carbonized (crystallized) to recover a carbonaceous substance by a system as illustrated in the selected drawing 1. Further, metals, combustible fuel, and the like are recovered from the residues which are not carbonized to carry out efficient recycling. The method is a technique different from conventional ones in a point that the technique does not require incineration, landfilling, or treatment by microorganism or employs these means to the minimum extent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
