<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source apparatus for an air cleaner with which both an electrode for dust collection and deodorizing and an electrode for generating negative ions can be energized and each one of the electrodes can be on-off energized by using one common high voltage power source provided with only one electric voltage output terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The power source apparatus comprises the electrode 2 for dust collection and deodorizing, the negative ion electrode 5, a negative high voltage power source 7b, an input power source 8 for a high voltage power source, an on-off switching relay 9a for the electrode for dust collection and deodorizing, an on-off switching relay 9c for inputting the high voltage power source, a microcomputer 10 and an operating switch 11. A load impedance corresponding to the electrode 2 for dust collection and deodorizing is constituted as a dummy load by using a resistance and a capacitor, and only when only the electrode 5 for generating negative ions is energized, by connecting it with the electrode 5 for generating negative ions in parallel, it is possible to on-off energize either one of the electrode 2 for dust collection and deodorizing or the electrode 5 for generating negative ions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
