PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shoe with a deodorizing function which removes the odor strongly by a strong deodorizing function for a long time. SOLUTION: A shoe body 1 includes a photocatalyst 31 as a deodorizing means, and is composed so as to pass the air in the shoe body 1 through a deodorizing means to return the air to the shoe body 1 by an air pump 3. The deodorizing means is composed of the photocatalyst 31, and includes a photocatalyst excitation means for exciting the photocatalyst 31, and the photocatalyst excitation means is composed of a light emitting diode 32 emitting blue or violet light. The violet visible light emitted from the light emitting diode 32 excites the photocatalyst 31 to produce strong oxidation and reduction action for decomposing odor components of organic matters in the air passing through the photocatalyst 31.
