<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser alignment system, which utilizes an electric power source located outside a laser arbor in order to solve a problem of a battery life. <P>SOLUTION: The laser arbor includes a generator for generating electric power when a saw blade and the laser arbor are rotated by a spindle. The generator includes a stator having electromagnets or permanent magnets mounted on a fixed portion of a saw. Other part of the generator is a rotor including a coil, which rotates together with the laser arbor to generate the electric power for laser.
