PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antiphilogistic sedative agent containing a phenylacetic acid derivative and a menthol compound and to provide a method for enhancing antiphlogistic sedative action. SOLUTION: The method for enhancing antiphlogistic sedative action comprises formulating an antiphilogistic sedative agent containing the phenylacetic acid derivative or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt as an active ingredient with the menthol compound.
