PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular air conditioner capable of reducing the size of an air mix part of hot air and cool air. SOLUTION: The air mix part 25 for mixing the hot air passed through a heater core 13 and the cool air passed through a bypass passage 14 is provided on the downstream side of the heater core 13 and the bypass passage 14 in an air conditioning case 20. In the air mix part 25, a foam 24 of an open cellular structure is provided crossing over the whole area of the air passage, which enables the hot air and the cool air, when passing through the foam 24, to repeat branching or combining surely into a mixture. This operation requires no mix air space on the downstream side of the foam 24, resulting in reduction of the size of the air mix part 25. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
