PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap for molding a honeycomb for eliminating the strain generated in the extrusion surface of a molded object after extrusion molding or the bending of the molded object, keeping stable extrusion friction force and excellent in extrusion moldability and abrasion resistance. SOLUTION: The cap 10 for molding the honeycomb has a structure wherein groove-like slits 2 are provided to the upper surface of the cap 10 by cell blocks 3, and the back holes 4 communicating with the slits 2 are provided to the back surface of the cap 10.
