PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of failure in the removal of dish holding pins from the dish cage, which are conventionally arranged in plurality separated from each other at a specified interval for housing and holding dishes and in various lengths and shapes intended to house large, medium and small plates, bowls and the like. SOLUTION: In the dish washer, which is provided with a washing tank, a dish rack housed therein, washing nozzles for injecting water to articles to be washed such as dishes to be housed into the dish rack, the dish rack is constituted of a plurality of dish support units having support members for supporting the dishes and a base rack for detachably supporting the plurality of dish support units and the plurality of dish support units are detachably built independently.
