PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel that can make large click sound without increase in the snapping force in the click mechanism and has good operability. SOLUTION: The fishing reel has a construction that the fishing line is wound around the spool 2 supported with the reel body 1a by the rotation of a handle 50 that is rotatably supported with the reel body 1a, and is equipped with click mechanisms 53, 54 signaling the rotation of the spool 2 in the line-letting out direction at a position between a rotor 51 that is rotated, when the line is let out and the reel body 1a.
