PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for connecting an agricultural implement protrusively installing the agricultural implement from the upper part of positions where wheels or caterpillar bands of a traveling machine body are arranged to a lateral position of the traveling machine body and performing mechanical operation by connecting an input shaft to an output shaft with a clutch mechanism when performing operation, moving the laterally protruded agricultural implement to an inoperative position, avoiding collision thereof with a lateral obstacle, making the traveling machine body small turns and travels, raising the stability of driving and traveling operation of the traveling machine body by laterally displaced weight and simplifying a driving transmission structure when performing no operation. SOLUTION: The apparatus for connecting the agricultural implement F is equipped with an input shaft 17 receiving power from a power source of the traveling machine body 1 in a connecting member 3, an output shaft 21 to be a driving source of the agricultural implement F arranged in a mounting member 7 and the clutch mechanism 16 connecting the input shaft 17 to the output shaft 21 in an operating position and releasing the connection of the input shaft 17 to the output shaft 21 when moved from an operating position S to an inoperative position H in the operating position between the input shaft 17 and the output shaft 21.
