PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip carrying screw conveyor constructed to realize hard biting of a work B between each of screw vanes 3 and a trough 1 even when falling into the trough 1. SOLUTION: Rotating shafts 2a, 2b to which the screw vanes 3 are fixed are provided in parallel in the trough 1 in mutually spaced relation. The bottom face of the trough 1 is inclined downward from both ends to a central portion.
