<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding band which loses the binding function only when it is heated, need not be unbound separately, and is easily disassembled. <P>SOLUTION: In this binding band, a head part 1 is formed in a part of a band body 2, and a claw part 3 is provided inside the head part 1. The band body 2 is wound around a work to be bound, the band body 2 is inserted in the head part 1, the claw part 3 is engaged with the band body 2, and the work is bound by preventing any movement in the direction opposite to the inserting direction of the band body 2. A shape memory member 4 is provided inside the head part 1, and the binding function is maintained during the use at normal temperature. The band body is expanded when the band is heated to the temperature range exceeding the temperature of transformation of the shape memory member 4, restriction in the direction opposite to the inserting direction of the band body 2, and the binding function is lost to facilitate the unbinding. An uneven part is formed on the claw part 3 and the band body 2, and the binding function is maintained by engaging these uneven parts with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
