PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing press capable of suppressing the tension fluctuations of printing paper to achieve stabilization and capable of suppressing the shift of printing or rapping by preventing the backlashing of a drive roller in the transmission means of the drive source used in the printing press. SOLUTION: A cam clutch 9 is provided to the shaft end of a shaft 30d as a backlashing preventing means to prevent the backlashing of a printing paper feed roller 1d. The cam clutch 9 provided to the shaft end of the shaft 30d is fixed to a back surface side printing press frame 22. The cam clutch 9 races with respect to one rotation and meshes with respect to rotation in other direction to prevent backlashing. Since the cam clutch 9 is rotated only in one direction, the backlashing of the shaft 30d is prevented and a coaxial printing paper feed roller 1d is prevented from backlashing.
