PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat for vehicle which is provided with so called walk-in mechanism for raising the front side of a seat cushion. SOLUTION: The seat for vehicle has a slide device 2 movable back and forth relative to a carbody and which can be secured at a suitable position by a slide lock mechanism 15 and always biased toward a front direction FR, a support frame 3 supported by the above slide device 2, a seat back 5 pivotably and controllably back and forth supported by the above support frame 3 by means of a reclining device 6, and the seat cushion 4 supported by the above support frame 3 in such a manner that it becomes movable up and down by a lifter mechanism 8 and its front side becomes raisable by a tip-up mechanism 7. The tip-up operation or walk-in operation of the seat cushion 4 is carried out according to a depressing amount of a pedal lever 71 of the above tip-up mechanism 7. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
