PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-coated iron wire excellent in economical efficiency, corrosionproof properties, and safety. SOLUTION: A primer layer 3 mixed with an anticorrosive agent 30, an adhesive resin layer 4 mainly containing an olefin copolymer resin having functional groups and/or a modified polyolefin resin having functional groups, and a surface layer 5 comprising a polyolefin resin are formed on the surface of a naked iron wire 2 successively.
