PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension control device that can prevent furtherance of vehicle body behaviors. SOLUTION: If a differential value of lateral acceleration, obtained from the degree of lateral acceleration, detected through a lateral acceleration sensor, is above a reference level, a speed control amplification rate K<SB>2</SB>near a neutral position of vehicle height is made either 0 or a positive value (for instance, K<SB>21</SB>). In response to variations of vehicle height, around the neutral position of the vehicle height, a hydraulic cylinder acts so as to be in the oil supply direction (in the elongation direction), when the vehicle body shifts toward the shrinking side, and the hydraulic cylinder acts to be in the oil drainage direction (in the shrinking direction), when the vehicle body shifts toward the elongation direction. For instance, if a vehicle comes over a protruding portion of a road, the vehicle body will relatively shrink, and the hydraulic cylinder is controlled so as to shift toward the increased elongation direction. Accordingly, it is possible to appropriately avoid a full rebound, which is apt to occur in the conventional technology, when receiving the upward movement of a spring, and to improve driving comfort and drivability of the vehicle.
