PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet inputting and outputting device and a sheet inputting and outputting conveying system to swiftly and reliably input and output a plurality of sheets in and from a containing vessel entirely without any fear to make contact of transfer equipment and a sheet grasped by the transfer equipment with the groove of a containing vessel and the sheet inputted in a containing vessel. SOLUTION: The sheet inputting and outputting device 51 formed that a plurality of sheets 2 are temporarily received and inputted in the containing vessel 57 or the sheets 2 are outputted from the containing vessel 57 in which a plurality of sheets 2 are inputted in alignment approximately in a vertical state and temporarily receives comprises a temporary placing stand 54 on which a plurality of sheets 2 are temporarily placed approximately in a vertical state and in an aligned state; and an elevating means to elevate the temporary placing stand 54 through the containing space of the containing vessel 57. A plurality of the sheets 2 are temporarily received approximately in a vertical state and simultaneously inputted in the containing vessel 57 approximately in a vertical state or a plurality of the sheets 2 are simultaneously outputted approximately in a vertical state from the containing vessel 57 and can be temporarily received in a state to be aligned approximately in vertical state.
