PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the interlayer strength while maintaining an excellent operability such as of working. SOLUTION: A carrier tape material is formed of a multi-layer combination paper containing heat-fusible fibers with the weight coefficient of variation CV of the paper determined by formula (1) CV(%)=SD/Ave×100 is≤1.2%, where SD is the standard deviation of the measured weight when a piece of the carrier tape material is taken by 8 mm in width (the transverse direction)×120 cm in length (in the longitudinal direction), and successively punched by a punch of the inside diameter of 6 mm so that the center-to-center interval of adjacent punched circles is 11 mm, and the weight of 100 punched sample pieces is measured by an electronic balance capable of measuring the weight to the fourth decimal place (0.1 mg), and Ave is the average value of the measured weight.
