PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic water producing apparatus capable of responding to demands of providing electrolytic water with high acidity (or alkalinity) and electrolytic water with lower acidity (or alkalinity) than that. SOLUTION: The electrolytic water producing apparatus is provided with an outer cylinder 1 having a first electrode 7 inside thereof, an inner cylinder 14 arranged inside the outer cylinder 1, forming a duct (electrolytic cell A) between the outer cylinder 1, having a second electrode 20 at the upper part inside thereof, arranging an electrolyte C at the lower part and having a diaphragm 27 at the upper part of a sidewall, and a discharge port 2c provided in the outer cylinder 1 in order to discharge the produced electrolytic water to the outside of the apparatus. A position of the upper end of the first electrode 7 makes higher than that of the discharge port 2c, and higher than a water level H1 between the outer cylinder 1 and the inner cylinder 14. As a result, acid water which is high in chlorine concentration, a little larger in pH and low in acidity is produced, and the electrolytic water can be discharged to the outside through the discharge port 2c.
