<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling method in which a desired plate profile is obtained by operation of a plate profile control device for prevention of a plate thickness peak in the vicinity of a width end of the plate without increase in facility such as increase in measuring points of a plate crown in a method for manufacturing a metal plate with rolling facility having a control means for the plate profile. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of thickness evaluation points of a rolling stock are provided in the vicinity of the width end of the rolling stock in the width direction of the plate. Control amount of a control means for the plate profile is determined in a way that each predicted plate thickness at each evaluation point for plate thickness is made smaller according as the evaluation point for the plate thickness approaches the width end of the plate. In a rolling stand on the most downstream side in which the distance from the plate width end at the evaluation point for the plate thickness at a plate thickness peak is within variation area of a predetermined roll crown transfer rate at each rolling stand, when there is an evaluation point to be a plate thickness peak, control amount of the control means for the plate profile is modified in the direction that the plate crown is increased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
