PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing a wound tape capable of granulating well the wound tape and reducing its volume. SOLUTION: The wound tape 31 such as a paper tape or a gum tape is fed together with a thermoplastic resin in a granulating device 1 provided with a rotary blade 3 and a fixed blade 4 and is granulated. Then the thermoplastic resin, a tubular member 33 and an adhesive tape 32 are cut with the rotary blade 3 and the fixed blade 4, and cut pieces of the adhesive tape, which are accreted by cut pieces of the thermoplastic resin or cut pieces of the tubular member while the thermoplastic resin is melted to act as a binder, are granulated well.
