PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper cup having barrier property which can be supplied in a roll, in addition, the paper edge of which can be protected and which is excellent in decorativeness. SOLUTION: A trunk material composing a trunk paper (11) and a bottom material composing a bottom paper (12) have a layer structure in which at least a thermoplastic resin layer (1), PET film (2), a thin inorganic compound layer (3), a paper base material (4) and the thermoplastic layer (5) are laminated in this order from the surface side and in addition, the outside edge of a seaming part (13) of the trunk is covered with a moisture-proof layer (16) such as a hot melt resin, a composite film having a layer structure including the PET film, the thin inorganic compound layer and the thermoplastic resin layer or the like.
