PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aligning device for an automatic attachment/detachment coupling, which works when the position of cores of two joining pipes are shifted upon carrying out pipe connection between a movable coupling and a fixed coupling. SOLUTION: A vertical absorbing mechanism and a vertical sliding shaft are arranged on a base. A back-and-forth movable member is mounted astride the vertical absorbing mechanism, and a back-and-forth support with a back-and- forth guide slot is provided at the left and right of the back-and-forth movable member. On the top of the vertical sliding shaft, a floating wheel is arranged to be fitted into the back-and-forth guide slot. On the outside of the back-and- forth support, a horizontal movable member is arranged, which is provided with a horizontal absorbing mechanism and a horizontal sliding shaft that is supported against the back-and-forth support in a slidable manner. The back- and-forth movable member is provided with a back-and-forth absorbing mechanism and is fixed to the front and rear of the base. On the horizontal movable member, a buffer/position regulating leg is set upright with a movable side block supported on the upper end thereof. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
