PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker which can deliciously keep rice warm due to its bacterial control effect, for the inner lid does not have to be electrified for a long time for heat retention and therefore it causes no condensation of steam where bacteria is likely to propagate themselves, while giving a bad smell to the rice, or otherwise the inner lid does not have to be kept at an extremely high temperature to prevent the condensation, which also result in making the rice yellowish. SOLUTION: An inner lid 12, which is fixed on or removably attached to a lid body 5 of this rice cooker, is made of either a material containing a fine powder generating minus ions, or a metal material coated with a paint containing the fine powder generating minus ions.
