CATALYST STRUCTURE FOR TREATMENT OF EXHAUST GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst structure for treatment of exhaust gas capable of keeping a high catalytic capacity over a long period of time even if gas leaks from the gap between mutual catalyst units.

SOLUTION: This catalyst structure 6 for the treatment of exhaust gas is constituted by laminating a large number of the catalyst units 3 each of which is formed by packing a frame with a plurality of catalyst elements 1. Reticulated materials 2 made of a metal having a catalyst component supported thereon are arranged between the catalyst units 3 along a gas flow direction of the catalyst structure 6.
