<p>PURPOSE:To provide the prism type photosensor which can detect light from a light emitting part at a light receiving part without necessity for improving the accuracy of assembly. CONSTITUTION:This device is composed of light emitting parts 1 and 2 and light receiving parts 9 and 10, and this light emitting part is composed of a light emitting element 2 and a light guide member 1 for guiding light from this light emitting element 2. This light guide member 1 is provided with a light guide part 3, prism reflecting plane 4 formed at the terminal part of this light guide part 3 so as to deflect guided light, and emitting plane 5 to emit the deflected light toward the light receiving part. At such a prism type photosensor, the light guide member 1 is provided with a light diffusing means 6 to diffuse light directed from the light emitting part to the light receiving part.</p> |
