PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a clipping plotting method of a graphic in which plotting of sides of a graphic can be reduced, and trapezoid division processing or sort processing can be unnecessitated. SOLUTION: The coordinate values of both end points of the side and the coordinate values of a clip frame are inputted in the order of the alignment of sides constituting a graphic, and conventional segment dipping is executed, and the coordinate value of a cross point between the side and an inside/outside judgment straight line is calculated by a side clipping means 2. A painting out value is written in an element corresponding to the side of a display area holding means 9, and the two cross points between the sides and sides and the inside/outside judgment straight lines are combined, and the painting out value is written in the element of a segment between the two points in an inside/outside judgment bit holding part by a painting-out frame preparing means 3. Also, any side on the clip frame other than the inside/outside judgment straight line can be prevented from being plotted by a segment removing means 6. The painting out value is set, and painting out by scan is executed according to the display area holding means 9 and the inside/outside judgment bit holding part, and a clipped graphic is painted out by a painting out means 4. |
