COORDINATE INPUT DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide the coordinate input device installed on a display device and capable of inputting instructions and data to an information processor by touching the display surface. CONSTITUTION:The coordinate input device is provided with two substrates consisting of insulated body at least one of which is made up of an insulated body having flexibility and forming resistance films on each of them and a spacer forming the prescribed space between the resistance films opposite each other between the substrates and detecting the electric potential of a pressing point through the other resistance film. The voltage is applied to one resistance film and the electric potential is detected through the other resistance film. One substrate 71 is provided with plural resistance films 73a and 73b provided independently.
