PURPOSE:To provide an oil-impregnated power cable having an insulation layer consisting of a composite film including a polyolefin layer and a paper insulation layer, which in particular shall favorably be applied to a marine cable, and thereby search a useful impregnation oil. CONSTITUTION:An insulation layer is formed by winding on a conductor a composite film including at least a polyolefin layer and an insulative paper layer, and is impregnated with an impregnation oil containing 10-90wt.% 1,1- diphenyl ethane and 90-10wt.% benzyl toluene. |
