EXTRACTS OF HERBA TETRAGONIAE INHIBITING APOPTOSIS AND PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION INCLUDING THE SAME

PURPOSE: Provided are an extracts of Herba Tetragoniae inhibiting apoptosis and a pharmaceutical composition including the same. The extract has anticancer activity, prevention effect on liver disease and therapeutic activity, increases immunity, and is used as prevention and treatment agents for cancer, liver disease, and the like. CONSTITUTION: An extracts of Herba Tetragoniae is characterized by containing D-galactose, D-mannose, D-arabinose and D-glucose in the amount of 90 wt.%, and inhibiting apoptosis. It is obtained by the steps of: pulverizing Herba Tetragoniae, followed by centrifugation; and extracting precipitation thereof with hot water.
