PURPOSE: Provided is a skin whitening composition containing, as an active ingredient, phytolight derived from Pyrus Malus fruit extract, Scutellaria Baicalensis root extract, Camellia Sinensis leaf extract, Cucumis Sativus fruit extract or their mixture. CONSTITUTION: A skin whitening composition is characterized by containing 0.001-10 wt.% of phytolight that is derived from the extract selected from the group consisting of a Pyrus Malus fruit extract, a Scutellaria Baicalensis root extract, a Camellia Sinensis leaf extract, a Cucumis Sativus fruit extract or their mixture.
