PURPOSE: To provide a positive charge org. photoconductor for toner electrophotography of dry process and wet process, excellent in stability and repetitively usable. CONSTITUTION: This photoconductor includes a conductive base material, hydroxyl group-contg. binder components forming a layer of about >=1μm thickness on the base material, phthalocyanine pigment components of an X type which do not contain metals and are distributed uniformly over the entire part of these binder components, crosslinkable resins and reactive additive components which are selected from the group consisting of carboxylic anhydride, aldehyde, polyol, alkoxysilane coupling agent, reactive allyl polymer and dismaleimide, are distributed uniformly over the entire part of the binder components and have a crosslinking bond relation with the binder components. The premixed dispersion obtd. by premixing such phthalocyanine pigment components, the reactive additive components and a solvent is added to the hydroxyl group-contg. binder components and the resulted coating soln. is applied to the conductive base material. The coated base material is placed under crosslinking bond conditions.
