METHOD FOR FITTING CABLE TENSILE DETECTOR AND FITTING POSITION ADJUSTING TOOL THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a tensile detector in a manhole to precisely detect the tensile applied to an object to be pulled even if the delivery position of the object by a cable haulage is significantly dislocated vertically from the installation position of the object.

SOLUTION: A cable tensile detector 10 is installed which detects, using a tensile sensor, the tensile applied to a cable and a rope when they are pulled as a vertical component force in the direction orthogonal to the pulling direction in a manhole 100 disposed along an underground conduit for installing the cable. When installing the cable tensile detector 10, a fitting member 13 is made to engage with a fitting position adjusting tool 1, where an index part 1c of the fitting position adjusting tool is aligned with a rope 3 which is installed in advance to adjust the height of the fitting member. The fitting member is fitted to be substantially horizontal between side walls 100a and 100b facing each other in the manhole at the adjusted height. The fitting member is fitted with the cable tensile detector.
