<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of outputting visual information indicating a vehicle type from an onboard apparatus, and comparing the visual information (first vehicle type data) with a discrimination information (second vehicle type data). <P>SOLUTION: This vehicle type comparison system 10 comprises the onboard apparatus 12a outputting the first vehicle type data 17a that is the visual information 16, a vehicle type discrimination device 13b outputting the second vehicle type data 17b of an automobile 11 mounted with the onboard apparatus 12a, a comparing device 13c comparing the first vehicle type data 17a with the second vehicle type data 17b, and a managing center 14 informing a result of the comparison to an owner of the automobile 11 when vehicle types 17 indicated by the first vehicle type data 17a and the second vehicle type data 17b are not matched with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
