PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetizer for DC motor magnet wherein the cogging torque of a DC motor is reduced to a level which has not been conventionally attained. SOLUTION: A conductor 4 is respectively wound on a north magnetic pole 2 and a south magnetic pole 3 formed in a magnetization yoke 1. A cylindrical case 5 is placed between the north magnetic pole 2 and the south magnetic pole 3, and an inner circumferential surface magnetizing pin 7 formed in columnar shape is inserted into the case 5. Two magnets 6 for DC motor to be magnetized are placed between the inner circumferential surface of the case 5 and the inner circumferential surface magnetizing pin 7. A predetermined current is passed through the conductors 4 to produce magnetic fields between the north magnetic pole 2 and the south magnetic pole 3. Thus, the magnets 6 are magnetized. The magnets 6 to be magnetized have an outer circumferential surface and an inner circumferential surface which are concentric with each other. When the magnets 6 are placed in the case, the entire inner circumferential surfaces of the magnets 6 are in contact with the outer circumferential surface of the columnar inner circumferential surface magnetizing pin 7. Further, the entire outer circumferential surfaces of the magnets 6 are in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the case 5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
