<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To book a seat, while indicating time zone. <P>SOLUTION: A PC 1 sends a utilization block, a time zone, date and a user ID to a seat booking system center 2 to temporarily book a seat. The seat booking system center 2 delivers uncertain number of seat secured per each train and the predetermined seat among the uncertain number of seats to a station control device 4 of a station corresponding to the user ID of the user, who temporarily booked a seat. The station control device 4 delivers a list of the predetermined seat among the uncertain number of seat and the user ID of the user, who temporarily booked the seat, to a ticket gate 5. The ticket gate 5 reads out the user ID from an IC card 6, which the user holds, and checks whether the seat delivered from the station control device 4 coincides with any one in the list of the user ID possible to utilize the seat or not, and if YES, the ticket gate 5 issues a reserved seat ticket for the seat to the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
