<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a method for calculation of radiation provided with a means for speedily completing calculations while keeping calculation accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: In the vicinity of a calculation cell emitting radiation energy or a calculation cell P absorbing radiation energy, a small (level 0) cell is used. In a location apart from the calculation cell P, a large (level n) cell obtained by gathering a plurality of small cells is used. The largest calculation cell which can be included within an angle of visibilityΔΩof which a single ray is in charge is selected.
