<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an art smoothly performing on-demand publication without transmitting a proof print and a bookbinding sample and facilitating color calibration of color pictures in the on-demand publication. <P>SOLUTION: When a client device 200 transmits material data showing the contents of a publication to a server system, the server system 100 produces a bookbinding simulation data for displaying a three-dimensional bookbinding state of the publication based on the material data and transmits them to the client device.
