PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data storage apparatus capable of storing read data of a frame image of a photo film while suppressing deterioration in the processing capability of a photo printer to the utmost. SOLUTION: The image data storage apparatus for storing image data read by a film reader FR of the photo printer provided with an image processing apparatus 11 for generating a print-production purpose image data on the basis of image data read by the film reader FR for reading the frame image of the photo film and with a print means for printing the image on an image recording member on the basis of the print-production purpose image data, is provided with: an image data storage means IM for storing the image data read by the film reader FR; and a branch transmission path formed so as to allow the image data sent from the film reader FR to the image processing apparatus 11 to reach the image data storage means IM.
