PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information obtaining device for obtaining stored information of an image file to configure a Web page for reducing user's load on retrieval and browsing by opening the image file stored by another Web server device to the public through a user interface provided by himself, and a recording medium recording a computer program for operating a computer as the information obtaining device. SOLUTION: The computer 1 specifies a Web page stored by Web servers 2, 2, to the Web servers 2, 2, and obtains stored information of the lined image file from the Web page. When the stored information of the image file can't be obtained, a folder storing the Web page is specified to obtain the stored information of the image file.
