<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact IC card slot which never accumulates foreign matters inside of a slot and which prevents the insertion of a card of an inadequate size. <P>SOLUTION: The slot is provided with: an upper supporting part 3 for supporting the upper surface of an IC card 11; each-side supporting parts 4 opposing each other like permitting a width size in the inserting direction of the IC card 11; and a card insertion path 6 comprising a lower supporting part 5 supporting the lower surface of the IC card 11. A distal end supporting part 8 is formed for abutting and supporting the insertion distal end of the IC card 11 in the depth of the card insertion path 6, and an open part 9 opened communicated with a lower side from this distal end supporting part 8 is provided. Thus, the foreign matters having entered the lower surface of the IC card 11 drops off to be ejected from the open part 9. When tilting the card insertion path 6 downward toward the distal end supporting part 8, the foreign matters can easily be ejected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
