COMMUNICATION TERMINAL DEVICE, E-MAIL RECEPTION PROCESSING METHOD, PROGRAM AND STORAGE MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a communication charge from being charged even though mail cannot be actually received if dial-up connection is automatically carried out by receiving mail existence notification in the following case that a communication terminal capable of receiving e-mail sometimes falls due to short of a free area in the memory for storing newly received mail regardless of the arrival of the mail.

SOLUTION: The communication terminal device is provided with a mail automatically receiving means for performing control so as to acquire e-mail with a mail acquiring means if a storage acceptance/rejection determination means for referring to a free area of a storing means to determine whether or not e-mail data related to the received e-mail can be stored determines that the e-mail date related to the received e-mail can be stored when a state notification detection means for detecting a mail state notification signal transmitted from a mail server and a received mail determination means determine that the received mail exists, and controls not to acquire the e-mail with the mail acquiring means if the storage acceptance/rejection determination means determines that the new e-mail data cannot be stored.
