POSITION SEARCH CONTROL SYSTEM AND POSITION SEARCH CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position search control system and a position search control method for searching the current position of a mobile terminal and rejecting position search at an undesirable time but attaining emergency notice at warning. SOLUTION: The position search control system and the position search control method includes: a mobile terminal 1 including a position detection function and an emergency button; and a center 3 communicable with the mobile terminal 1 via a mobile communication network 2. The center 3 includes: a search enabling/disabling means (an area YN in a database 15a) for setting whether the search of the position of the mobile terminal 1 is permitted; and a temporary setting means (an area FG of the database 15a) for validating the position search area until a warning release request is issued independently of the setting contents of the search enabling/disabling means according to a warning start request from the mobile terminal 1.
